Television’s Dr. Oz came under fire from the US Senate yesterday for making spurious claims about weight loss products and diet supplements that don’t really work.
Dr. Oz say he believes in some of the supplement he recommends – like green coffee beans – as short term remedies, but agrees that in the long term nothing really works but eating less and moving more.
Beware of television doctors. You’re better off getting medical advice from Dr. Hook.
