Back in 2003, John Mellencamp released “Trouble No More” which featured him and his band covering folk and blues classics including songs from Robert Johnson, Woody Guthrie and Bob Dylan. For the concert, performed at New York’s Town Hall in July 31st of that year, the album also included stripped down versions of Mellencamp’s own Small Town, Pink Houses and Paper In Fire.
Trouble No More Live will be available on CD, vinyl and as a digital download on July 8th. The CD and digital edition feature the show’s entire 15-song set, while the vinyl version contains 10 tunes. Mellencamp is planning to release his 22nd studio album, Plain Spoken, sometime in the fall.
