PEARL JAM COVERS DISNEY’S ‘LET IT GO’ FROM FROZEN
If you have young children, you’re probably sick and tired of hearing ‘Let It Go’, but Pearl Jam is trying to redeem it. While playing a concert in Milan over the weekend, the band broke into the song’s chorus while singing ‘Daughter’, and it’s a great rendition of the track. Check out Eddie Vedder pretending to be Idina Menzel:
HOVERBOARD BRINGS FUTURE TO TORONTO WATERFRONT
The North American premiere of the Hoverboard took place Sunday on Toronto’s waterfront. The board doesn’t just hover — it flies. Inventor Franky Zapata demonstrated it to a large crowd of fans; showing off with back-flips and coasting along the Lake Ontario shoreline. The Hoverboard, by Zapata Racing (ZR) will be available to the general public this July through sports distributors and rental outlets.
MALAYSIA MISSING PLANE
Australia is to announce this week a new search area to hunt for the missing Malaysia Airlines Flight 370. A re-examination of data could shift the search area hundreds of kilometres south. Another development over the weekend: London’s Sunday Times said the plane’s pilot is the primary suspect. Malaysian authorities say this claim is not true.

If you happened to be one of the few people who didn’t watch the Americans take on Portugal, here’s how it went down: Portugal led, and the U.S. tied. Then the U.S. led, and they, and the rest of America were feeling pretty damn good about it. All the U.S, had to do was not give up the ball, and the game was there’s. But with 27 second left, Portugal headed in the equalizer. Today’s World Cup action will see the host nation Brazil play their final group stage match against Cameroon at 4pm. The Netherlands will take on Chile at noon, as well as Spain and Australia, (both teams are already out of the tournament,) and Mexico and Croatia face off at 4pm.
