Chris Bundas –
The coffee mogul Tim Hortons introduced the U.S. to its new Oreo Donut earlier in June. According to InsideTimmies.com, the Oreo Donut is chocolate, filled with vanilla cream and topped with Oreo cookie crumbs.
I’m sure I speak for all Canadians when I say that I’m a little pissed off that this new epic donut wasn’t released in Canada first. However, like many things available in the States that are not here, the Oreo Donut won’t be one of them. It’s with great pleasure that I may tell you come July 7th, the Oreo Donut will arrive in Canadian Tim Horton stores.
And if that’s not enough Oreo for you, you’ll be pleased to know that an Oreo Iced Capp will be accompanying the donut come ‘her’ debutante on July 7th. (okay, maybe that’s putting it too high up there on a pedestal.)
So far, those lucky American mouths that have tasted the donut have nothing but good things to say on Twitter and Insatgram.
The new Timmies creation contains about 420 calories, 33 grams of sugar, and not a trace of any vitamins, or anything remotely ‘good’ for you, with the exception of heaven on your taste buds.
