SYMBOL OF THE FUTURE
They’re simply calling it: Emojli – the first emoji-only social network. “No words. No spam. Just emoji. (And the teenage girls scream.) If this for some reason interests you, I suggest being one of the first to sign up for the new social network; there are only so many different emoji’s to use for a username. A NEW WAY TO BUY YOUR ‘DOUBLE DOUBLE’
With the press of a button, Tim Hortons is hoping Canadians will warm to their new CIBC ‘Double Double Visa Card,’ which includes physical buttons built into the plastic. Cardholders have the option of pressing one of two buttons on the face of the card – one button accesses their Visa account, the other lets users redeem loyalty points for products at Tim Hortons stores. Both buttons have a coloured light that illuminates when the users presses one of the two options on the card. Although credit cards like this are not a new sensation, this is the first in Canada. The new card allows users to earn points on purchases, collecting a cent on every dollar in Tims Cash rewards with their no annual fee Visa card. The new Tim Hortons credit card is the first step in bringing out their loyalty program, which has no debut date yet. The Tim Hortons credit card will be officially launched on today.
