Chris Bundas –
The greatest superhero of all is back, “Batkid!” And this time around he’s starring in a heart-warming new trailer.
Miles ‘Batkid’ Scott, the 5-year-old boy who fought leukemia and stole the hearts of all in San Francisco, as well as the Internet, now is featured in a trailer for the documentary, “Batkid Begins.” Thanks to the Make-A-Wish foundation who made the Batkid experience happen for little Miles, the new trailer debuted at Comic-Con earlier this week.
The trailer follows Miles’ Batkid experience, the people who made it come to life and the unbelievable amount of support for the event. Although the city of San Francisco help out substantially to make Miles’ dream come true, it was Miles who gave the entire city something much greater.
‘Batkid Begins’ Trailer:
“He gave everybody license to just be a little absurd, a little ridiculous, live their little dreams for a little bit,” Hans Zimmer, “Dark Knight” trilogy composer, says in the trailer.
The documentary will include the hype surrounding Batkid as he prepares to save the day,” and a look into Miles’ life on his family’s farm in Tulekuke, California.
Production funds are still being raised for the documentary through an IndieGoGo campaign. With 21 days left, the documentary has already raised more than half of its $100,000 goal.
Miles seems to be what San Francisco and the rest of the world needed to find their heart and their inner child again.
