Remember when you were young…
The excitement of finding out one of your favourite rock n’ roll bands was coming to town. Lining up with friends at 6am outside of a Sam The Record Man store to score the best possible seats for that upcoming show. Listening to their albums over and over again in anticipation of that performance the Rock Gods had so generously bestowed upon you.
The good ‘ol days, when bands where made up of men who played real music, who created art: The Stones, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Guns N’ Roses, Pink Floyd.
Well, bad news for ya…
Now you’re a parent, and the way you felt about your favourite artists and music back when you were young, is exactly the same way you’re children feel about their favourite musical acts today.
My guess is you probably hate your kids taste in music, just like your parents hated yours, right?
Especially if said act is One Direction. But still, you have to suck it up and take them to those concerts because they haven’t quite turned 18 yet.
Fear not Mom and Dad, there are others out there, hurting just like you; you’re not alone. And here are the pictures to prove it:
