Canadian comedian Norm Macdonald took to twitter, fighting on behalf of Toronto Mayor Rob Ford as Ford himself has a real battle against cancer ahead of him.
In a series of tweets Monday, Macdonald sympathizes for a man who just underwent his first round of chemotherapy and pleads Torontonians to keep the mayor in their prayers, despite ones political view.
Toronto Mayor Rob Ford may be able to leave the hospital today. He will be checked over by his team of doctors who will decide whether and when he can be discharged.
Ford has finished his first round of chemotherapy to treat a rare form of cancer called liposarcoma. He begins a 18 day rest period, prior to starting a second round of chemotherapy.
Doug Ford predicted his brother would most likely be released from Mount Sinai hospital today. “It is up to the doctors but more than likely (Tuesday),” Doug Ford told the Toronto Sun on Monday.
Doug his been visiting the hospital every day, keeping tabs on the city’s ill mayor. “He’s not doing well. When you go through your three bouts of chemo it is tough. It is brutal.” Ford said.
Do you agree with what Norm Macdonald tweeted about Rob Ford? Do you think his series of tweets were sincere?
