Drag racing isn`t as easy as some may think.
To get the best 1/4 mile time possible, taking off from a stand still requires precision and skill to launch the car with minimal wheel spin.
You don`t just hammer the pedal to the floor and go. In a powerful rear wheel car, your ass is gonna slide all over the place.
Even professionals, sometimes, don`t get the launch quite right and something like this happens:
The driver of the Chevy Bel Air get a better launch, but loses traction shortly after. He struggles to regain control of the car but doesn’t, resulting in the crash and rollover which is very intense.
Somehow the driver ends up through the windshield when the Bel Air stops rolling.
The driver later admitted the seat belts were not anchored correctly. Lucky dude!
