Adam Sandler has signed a four-film deal with Netflix.
The actor and comedian will star in and produce four movies that will premiere exclusively on the streaming service.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Sandler continues to be one of Hollywood’s most reliable draws with films that have collectively grossed more than $US2.4 billion domestically.
The deal comes just two days after Netflix announced a groundbreaking partnership with the Weinstein Company to release the sequel to Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon simultaneously on Netflix and in Imax theatres next summer.
