A new poll shows the mayoral race may come down to the wire as Doug Ford and John Tory are now in a virtual tie.
The Forum Research poll still has Tory as the front runner with 39% support, but Doug Ford has gained ground as he’s up to 37% closing the lead gap to only 2 points.
Olivia Chow is also slightly up at 22%.
Tory dropped 4 points from forum’s last poll while Ford gained 4 points and Olivia Chow gained 2.
John Tory continues to lead in North York and Downtown while Doug Ford is leading in Etobicoke and Scarborough.
With the narrow gap, do you think it’s just an anomaly or is there something more to it? Do you believe the polls are accurate? Do they instruct you or influence your vote?
