Cold and flu season blows, literally. Nobody wants to get sick and when a co-worker does come to work coughing and sneezing you may stay away from them but are you both pouring coffee from the same pot? The coffee pot is where you pick up your co-workers germs most often according to a study done by researchers at the University of Arizona in Tucson.
The researchers placed a virus called MS-2 on the doors at an office and measured how and where they spread throughout the day. What they found is that the virus could be detected on 40-60% of the office workers after a few hours and seemed to gravitate towards the coffee pot.
