Tim Hortons Raising Coffee Prices
Tim Hortons lovers will soon have to carry some extra change to get their coffee fix.
The chain that recently agreed to be bought by Burger King says they’re raising the coffee prices next Wednesday.
The average cup of coffee is going up by 10 cents. Timmies is blaming higher operating costs and pricey coffee beans.
There is some good news for Ontarians, the cost for a breakfast sandwiches will also rise in all provinces except Ontario.
Michelle Robichaud, a Tim Hortons spokeswoman said, “We have been able to hold our pricing stable since spring of 2011, however due to rising operational costs there will be a moderate increase.”
