Tory's gridlock-fighting plan: Zero tolerance for vehicles blocking routes
Toronto Mayor John Tory has released his multi-point plan to tackle the city’s traffic woes!
One of the more controversial aspects of his plan is the promise that the city will pursue a more aggressive towing policy.
His “zero tolerance” for illegal parking on roads during rush hour would see a fleet of tow trucks monitoring the streets. Whether you’re somebody running into Tims to get a quick cup of coffee, or a delivery driver parking taking up a spot on a busy street at 5:30 to make a fast delivery, they’ll catch you!
This promise has angered members of the delivery industry who have no choice but to make drops and conduct pick-ups during busy times on city streets.
Are you for or against this “attack” on the delivery industry?
