Two men are in police custody in Saskatchewan after one of them assaulted a Tim Horton’s employee with a snake.
Police say two 20-year-old men stopped by the restaurant and began arguing with an employee at the counter over the crucial issue of whether onions should be diced in a sandwich or not. One of the men reached into the other man’s coat pocket and hurled a snake. The snake turned out to be a small, completely non-poisonous, garter snake but it was enough to have staff and customers screaming and running from the restaurant.
Police have found someone to look after the snake, which they have named Outlaw, until the the Spring when they can release it back into the wild.
Nobody seems to know why the man was carrying around the snake in the first place.
