Here’s Why The Rapping Woman In Acura’s ‘Drive Like A Boss’ Commercial Might Look Familiar
You may have seen Acura’s new ‘Drive Like A Boss’ commercial and thought to yourself, “Damn, this woman rapping to Blondie’s Rapture looks oddly familiar.” Well, you’re right. Chances are you’ve probably seen her before, considering she was the star of a viral video this past November.
Toronto native and dental hygienist, Chelsea Ranger was the star of another rapping video titled “The Cutest Little Gangsta I Know, My Wife” that blew up online. Ranger was caught secretly by her husband’s camera phone, rapping along to Salt-N-Pepa’s “None of Your Business” in the car.
The video was uploaded to YouTube in November and has since racked up over 17 million views.
The video became so popular online that it scored Ranger a solid gig starring in Acura’s new commercial, which has been running frequently during the NFL playoffs.
