‘TTC Leprechaun’ returns for second round of social media shaming over bad rider behaviour
After slipping out of public consciousness for a couple of months, it would appear that the foul tempered TTC leprechaun has made a comeback.
The Leprechaun, so called because of his bright green shift, bowler hat and beard, rose to infamy last fall when a video emerged on social media of the man’s rude and obnoxious behavior on public transit.
Watch the video below:
In the first incident, the man is seen taking up two seats on a packed rush hour bus while responding rudely to a fellow passenger who objects.
This time around, it’s reported that he tried to take his bike on to a crowded bus and refused to alight when asked to do so by the driver.
Instead it’s said that he waited until the police arrived at the scene, when he was arrested and given a ticket for engaging in a prohibited activity.
Derringer takls about the TTC Leprechaun allegedly being arrested at Pape Station:
What do you think of this man’s behavior? Is it acceptable or do all social norms and values go out the bus or streetcar window during rush hour?
