Yay or Nay to this idea? I ask this after reading this story from Finland…
A man in Finland has been ordered to pay a $61,000 speeding fine. Finland’s speeding fines are linked to income, meaning high earners get hit with bigger penalties for breaking the law. So, when businessman Reima Kuisla was caught doing 64 MPH in an area where the speed limit is 50, authorities turned to his 2013 tax return and came up with the $61,000 fine. In 2013 he earned $7.2 million.
So what do you think?
