A U.K. survey asked women to create a composite of what the perfect husband would look like. Now keep in mind it was a U.K. survey so they used British celebs to create him but the features are universal and it shows women don’t need him to have a perfect chiseled face and abs.
Researchers say men with well-toned bodies are certainly nice to look at but it’s the man with the little bit of excess flab around the waist who often wins the day.
The research also revealed that the most successful relationships had been made with a ‘boy next door’.
A spokesperson for Jacamo, who commissioned the research, said: ‘Women tell us that men with ordinary bodies are seen as good family makers who pay more attention to their partners than they do to themselves.”
