A new Beatles musical will debut in London at Royal Albert Hall in April.
39 musicians and 8 singers will make up the musical called “The Sessions at Abbey Road”.
The producer’s work and goal of this is to make it sound as close to the Beatles as possible. Not much stress has gone into the look, so don’t expect a bunch of lookalikes in wigs on stage.
“The performance will be a technical ballet, a constant flow of movement of cast and musicians. We are trying to create the look, feel and atmosphere of those famous sessions in Abbey Road” says Director Kim Gavin.
Do you think this musical will be successful enough to do a run of shows in Toronto?
