W Network Renews Competition Series with Production in Toronto - Casting To Begin
Corus Entertainment has announced the renewal of W Network’s hit series, Game of Homes. W Network’s biggest competition series gives skilled amateur home renovators a chance to parlay their skills into the prize of a lifetime – a house and a plot of land.
The second season takes place in the Toronto area, with four new teams of amateur home renovators turning rundown houses into their dream homes, room-by-room.
In Season 2, these dilapidated houses, slated for the wrecking ball, will be uprooted and transported to the Toronto area. The teams will work side by side, around the clock, to completely transform these dumps into show homes while also living in them.
They will battle small budgets, tight deadlines, cramped quarters and each other for a chance to win a home and change their lives forever.
The series, is currently casting across Ontario for teams of two – amateur home renovators and/or designers – who want to compete for this prize of a lifetime.
Ontario teams can apply online until August 13 or apply in-person at open casting calls in Oshawa on August 8 and Toronto on August 15.
The producers are looking for dynamic, outgoing teams of who have what it takes to win. Some experience in home renovation and design is key. They must also have the style, stamina and skill to redesign and renovate an entire house in five weeks this fall in the GTA.
