The heat is hard on the very young and very old and those with respiratory problems but for the rest it’s just a reason to grab an ice cold beverage after work, relax by the beach or pool or maybe stay inside with the A/C cranked. Enjoy it, because it won’t be long before we’re complaining it’s too cold.
The Old Farmer’s Almanac is predicting a snowy winter for most of the country. The dire prediction in the annual book suggests that even in places that don’t usually see too much snow, B.C. could have a cold snap starting in December.
That is if you believe in the Farmer’s Almanac over Environment Canada that predicted a milder winter for 2016 back in May.
“Canadians can look forward to a milder, less precipitous winter this year, thanks to a strong El Nino weather system ramping up in the Pacific Ocean.”
Enough about the snow, go put your shades on and have a cold one.
