This sounds creepy but apparently it’s legit. The National Association for the Preservation of Skin Art (NAPSA) is non-profit and they want to help you pass your tats on to your loved ones.
All you have to do is sign up and pay a fee to become a member. When whomever you plan to leave your tats to contacts them after your passing they will send a preservation kit to the funeral home to collect the tattooed skin.
It is then preserved and framed by NAPSA and sent to the beneficiary.
Welcome to NAPSA
NAPSA is a nonprofit membership association of like-minded tattoo artists and enthusiasts. We provide a wide-array of support and benefits to the tattoo community — including artists, studios, collectors, and those curious about the industry.
