Blue Win Game 3 of ALCS
If there ever was a “must-win” game for the Blue Jays, game 3 of the American League Championship Series was it.
The Jays had their bats swinging with homers from Troy Tulowitzky, Josh Donaldson and Ryan Goins in an 11-8 win over the Royals at Rogers Centre last night.
Tulowitzky becomes the first Blue Jays in franchise history to hit multiple 3-run-homers in the post season. He was also ejected late in the game for arguing balls and strikes with the umpire.
Game 4 goes this afternoon at 4:07 pm with R.A. Dickey up against Chris Young.
Also today, game 3 of the NLCS will see the Chicago Cubs send Kyle Hendricks to the hill as they try to claw back into the series, down 0-2 to the Mets, who counter with Jacob Degrom.
