Donald Trump is scheduled to host Saturday Night Live weekend after next, despite the fact that NBC had at one time promised to sever ties with the Republican candidate over remarks his made about Mexican immigrants. Now, a number of Latino advocacy groups are hoping to prevent the Donald from taking the stage, urging NBC and SNL producer Lorne Michaels to disinvite him. A Twitter hashtag called Trump is a Joke but #RacismIsntFunny started trending on Twitter last week. Supergirl is oevr 18, and should be called SuperWoman, but she isn’t, and the show is pretty defensive about that. There are worse situations; she could have been called SuperChick, or SuperBroad, or anything Kardashian, so let’s count our blessings.
