After weeks of denying that they were dating, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani suddenly went “OK, we’re totally doing it”. Just in time for the Country Music Awards last night, where Shelton performed, along with his ex-wife Miranda Lambert. The ex-couple took a fair amount of ribbing during the show for their high profile divorce, which is ironic since country music in general is about splitting up. Shelton and Gwen Stefani, who recently split with her husband Gavin Rossdale, met on The Voice, where they are both judges. All along, I though Blake Shelton was going to end up with Adam Levine.
Quentin Tarantino has managed to get all the police in America mad at him. The director, who has a new movie called The Hateful 8 coming out, spoke out against police brutality at a rally in New York last week, and the poilce union called for a boycott of his movie. Tarantino called that a “distraction” from the issue of police brutality, and now the head of America’s largest police union fired back by noting that Tarantino has a pretty nice movie there, and it would be a shame if anything happened to it. the Fraternal Order of Police’s Jim Pasco promised that his union had a “surprise” in store for the director saying they will to hurt him in the only way that seems to matter to him, and that’s economically.” What are they going to do? Not go see it?
Eddie Murphy, 54, and his girlfriend, Paige Butcher, 36, are expecting a baby in May of next year. That’s nice. It happens to be Murphy’s 9th child. He has fathered five children ranging in ages 13 to 26 with his ex-wife Nicole Murphy. He also had three children outside of the marriage – one with former Spice Girl Mel BSo that’s 9 children with 5 women. They say Eddie is a family man who loves all his children. Maybe so, but I would be careful to have breakfast with this guy – might end up with your eggs fertilized.
