Christians Upset With Starbucks Over Plain Red Holiday Cups
“Christmas” has started at Starbucks, but not with the same festive cup design and some people believe that the plain paper cups are a part of a plan to push away from Christian-themed holiday decorations.
The new Starbucks cups are plain red cups with no Christmas attributes, when previous years saw cups feature Christmas ornaments, snowflakes and winter type scenes.
Maybe next year Starbucks holiday cups will look like this…
Joshua Feuerstein says “I think in the age of political correctness we become so open-minded our brains have literally fallen out of our head.”
His video on Facebook got some negative attention: “Starbucks REMOVED CHRISTMAS from their cups because they hate Jesus … SO I PRANKED THEM … and they HATE IT!!!!”
Feuerstein came to buy a coffee and when they asked him his name, he answered: “Merry Christmas”.
He’s challenged Christians all over the world to put on their cups phrases related to Christmas instead of their names. The movement gained thousands of people in a short time who want to try to bring the mood of the Holiday back.
