She is a huge pop star in Japan and she isn’t real.
Next year one of Japan’s top pop stars, Hatsune Miku, will make her first concert tour of the U.S. and Canada. However, she doesn’t really exist. She is an anime character, a humanoid persona voiced by a singing synthesizer application developed created by a software company, Crypton Future Media, seven years ago. Her name means “first sound from the future”.
So the future music stars will be holograms? Then just bring back Freddie, Jimi…I could go on…in hologram form.
