Bono Has Written a Song for Paris
Bono of U2 has written a song inspired by the victims of the deadly terror attacks that took place in Paris last month.
Sitting down with Fareed Zakaria of CNN, Bono and Edge discussed several issues including the Nov. 13 attacks in Paris, when 130 people were murdered and of a new song inspired by the events, titled “SOS” or “Streets of Surrender.”
U2′s latest performance wasn’t just about the music. During Sunday night’s concert in Paris, frontman Bono paid respects to the 130 people killed in Paris and the 14 people killed in the mass shooting in San Bernardino,California.
He told the audience “we stand together with the families of those killed in Paris and with the families of those killed in San Bernardino.”
