You may have noticed that Will Smith, the star of the first film, isn’t in the trailer for the sequel of the 1996 blockbuster. For various reasons, Will Smith declined his return as Col. Steven Hiller, leaving the character’s fate unclear in the new movie preview.
However, according to the website http://www.warof1996.com (a site dedicated to the upcoming 2016 blockbuster,) Col. Steven Hiller was killed in a test flight accident. Read below:
