first dicey commute of the season
It appears winter has finally arrived.
Toronto and surrounding areas have been hit with a few centimeters of snow, making for the first dicey commute of the season.
Salt trucks are hitting the main roads for a second pass, while side streets are also being tackled, but a reminder from the city, plows won’t head out until 8 cms have fallen.
If you’re flying out of Pearson Airport today, confirm your flight status before heading out.
There have already been several delays and cancellations.
GO Transit and TTC aren’t reporting any problems this morning.
As for school buses, it’s business as usual, and schools are open.
Snow this morning may cause some delays. If you’re flying, confirm flight time with your airline or at https://t.co/siQEK1eP2c.

REMINDER: we will only tweet an update if buses/schools are cancelled. Usually by 6:15 a.m. So, I’d start pouring the cereal. #timeforschool
