What you might not realize is that chocolate has been used since ancient times to treat many health complaints but in modern times “the impact of chocolate on cognitive function is not well understood.” That is up until now that is. Eating a piece of chocolate helped the cross section of participants in this study and it was found that “Chocolate intake was positively associated with cognitive performance, in other words the almost one thousand participants were able to remember things better basically. Researchers commented that eating chocolate on a regular basis would help “protect against normal age-related cognitive decline’.
