They used to call it unisex fashion, but now the term in ungendered. Zara is launching a line of clothing that is for both men and women: jeans, tees, jackets and such. Millenials are apparently embracing the trend; Jaden Smith, Will Smith’s son, has taken it so far as to become the new face of Louis Vuitton’s spring collection, wearing a masculine version of a skirt.
I don’t know too many guys who will take it that far, but certainly plenty of people feel comfortable borrowing items from opposite sex members of their family. Usually women from men, but sometimes the other way around. How about you? Every wear your boyfriend’s jeans? Your girlfriend’s ginch? Your mother’s army boots? Let us know – we won’t tell.
