A woman in England accidentally mailed her cat across the country, and it survived. The cat, a Siamese named Cupcake, found its way into a box of DVDs the woman was sending from Cornwall to West Sussex, a distance of some 260 miles. Eight days later, the cat was discovered – alive – when the box was opened. Cupcake was taken to the RSPCA and found to be in pretty good shape, all things considered, albeit quite dehydrated. All of which raises the following questions:
How could you not notice that there’s a cat in your package?
Who mails DVDs in this era of downloads?
Why did it take 8 days to mail a package 260 miles?
Is Cupcake’s new name Pancake?
