You can try all your life to be an underwear model. Usually, it takes good genes, months at the gym, an agent, expensive publicity shots and a lot of luck. Or you could be this guy. Brendan Williams is just a regular dude from Langford, B.C. with a regular body, who posted a series of boudoir photos he had taken for his wife for her birthday online. They were funny photos of him posing in nothing but his ginch, or his gotch, or whatever you call it. The shots went viral, and he became known as the dude-oir guy. Next thing you know, he’s approached by American Eagle to pose for a campaign featuring men and women with regular bodies wearing their new line of underwear. He gets the job, and now the ad is playing on a 40 foot high billboard in Times Square. Brendan says it’s all part of a growing trend in modeling of using regular folk with less than ideal bodies.
