Trump Refers To 9/11 Attacks as 7/11 During Speech
Speaking on the day before the New York primary, Donald Trump attempted to persuade the people of the Empire State to vote his way during a speech in Buffalo, with mixed success.
Although the state appears to be a lock for the billionaire Republican frontrunner, Trump referred to the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks as ‘7-Eleven,’ (yes, the convenience store,) during his speech, most likely upsetting a few people.
There was no apology, no hesitation or correction — he continued on with his speech as if he didn’t just refer to that tragic day by the name of a convenience store chain.
People jumble words all the time, that’s forgivable, but you can’t call 9/11, while speaking to the people of New York, 7/11 and not immediately correct yourself, and say sorry.
Are you that caught up in the bullshit you’re trying to spit to not realize you essentially just called these people a Slurpee?
I guess we’ll find out later today the impact of that gaffe after delegates cast their votes.
You get a Slurpee, and youuuu get a Slurpee!
Needles to say, Trump is Derringer’s Tool of the Day:
