A simple “F You” once in awhile in the workplace is a good thing even to the boss. This according to Jim Koch, head of the Boston Beer Company that makes Sam Adams.
He tells Business Insider they have a “F You Rule” in their company. Anyone can say the words to anyone else as long as …
“You have to explain to the person that you gave the F.U. to why you said that, what they did to make you feel in that special F.U. frame of mind and then be willing to listen to their side of the story.”
The rule is in place so employees can get any disagreements out on the table instead of keeping it inside allowing it to fester and cause bigger problems.
