It was often a mess of garbage and don’t get me started about the wasps in the summer but some may be disappointed to hear Tim Hortons plans to remove all garbage and recycling bins from their drive-thru lanes this month. The reason? People have had a difficult time sorting their waste and recycling and depositing it in the appropriate bin while driving through to pick up their order. At least, that is what the company is saying.
Tim Hortons says they will still have at least two waste and recycling bins outside for customers. One will be located near the front entrance and another one near the drive-thru.
Is it that people don’t sort what they’re throwing out or do you think maybe this has more to do with all those people who dump bags of their own household waste and use the bins to clean out their cars?
At least there won’t be as many wasps attacking when you roll your window down to order.
