Boy's Parents Blamed For Killing of Cincinnati Zoo Gorilla
Anyway you want to look at this story, the outcome is still sad.
A 17 year old male gorilla named “Harambe” was shot and killed at the Cincinnati Zoo, after a 4 year old boy crawled through a barrier at the outdoor gorilla center and fell into the enclosure!
After the video went viral, social media quickly exploded with blame towards the parents of the boy for their ignorance, which ultimately resulted in zoo staff having to shoot and kill the 400-lb rare animal.
Derringer added his thoughts on accident — what do you think about the whole situation?
maybe this is why we shouldn't PUT ANIMALS IN CAPTIVITY CAUSE THEYRE NOT ON THIS EARTH FOR OUR DAMN ENTERTAINMENT #RIPHarambe— mo lang (@mlangfordx) May 29, 2016
Make the enclosures impenetrable or have security for each exhibit. Stop killing these captive animals bc of irresponsible ppl.— Devi Brown (@DeviBrown) May 29, 2016
So sad about Harambe. Makes me sick that the whole thing was preventable. #RIPHarambe— Kelleesi (@Nilkski_) May 29, 2016
