A thread on Reddit asked people to share their unusual workplace rules. They didn’t disappoint.
One person talked of a ‘no coffee after 2pm’ rule which actually had staff remove all coffee machines and accessories at 2pm each day claiming it was wasteful to have coffee that late in the day.
One guy shared his company’s belief that men shouldn’t have facial hair. Moustaches were ok but that was it.
This one might seem more common, the ‘no dating a co-worker rule’. It’s frowned upon in many workplaces but in one redditor’s workplace it was forbidden.
Do you have or have you had an unusual rule in your workplace?
