They outraged the country last year and have now finally been charged. Conservation officials in British Columbia say two men have been charged in connection with a video that went viral last year showing a man trying to ride a moose off of a boat as it tried to cross a lake.
The B.C. Conservation Service says two Fort St. John men face charges under the B.C. Wildlife Act. Those charges include harassing wildlife with the use of a boat, attempting to capture wildlife and hunting big game that was swimming.
The names of the two men accused have not been released but they are to make their first court appearance on Aug. 8 in Fort Nelson.
