Apple comes out with a new iPhone every fall, and you have to wonder what new bell or whistle it can offer. One possibility is more storage: right now, the cheapest option only offers a mere 16GB of storage, and overall battery life could be better. Apple says with the iCloud, we don’t need more storage, but you can’t always access the iCloud, can you? And a lot of people aren’t completely comfortable sorting their photos and videos in the Cloud, particularly those personal home videos (cough cough). So the iPhone 7 will probably start with 32GB of storage. The other big change will likely the removal of the headphone jack, because if you aren’t going wireless these days you’re not hanging with the cool kids. So more storage and one less hole? How about a new waterproof shell that would survive a dunk in the pool, or a screen that won’t crack? Not very sexy, but then your phone would last longer, which is the last thing Apple wants.
