Pokemon Go Is Here!
You’ve likely heard several stories over the last few days about people, with their faces buried in their smartphones, walking into traffic or other perilous situations.
But it’s not your usual texters at fault.
Thousands have been playing the Pokemon GO app, where users are sent out into their everyday surroundings to find Pokemon, which are digital pocket monsters.
They appear on screen when players hold up their smartphones in various locations.
The app finally launched in Canada Sunday, and response was so strong on it’s first day of release that its servers crashed.
The app launched in the US, New Zealand, Australia and Japan earlier this month.
