Construction has started on a stretch of Bloor Street West to install new separated bike lanes.
Bloor is reduced to one lane in each direction from Shaw Street to Avenue Road and will stay this way for the next two weeks.
All on-street parking is off limits for at least the first few days of construction.
City council approved the pilot project to install the bike lanes back in May.
It will be in effect for a year and if it proves successful, the lanes will be made permanent.
The estimated cost of the project is $500,000.
