Today would have been Keith Moon’s 70th birthday.
He of course was the drummer for The Who from 1965 until his death in 1978, and is still considered one of the greatest rock drummers of all time.
In honour of today, here are few clips that best exemplify Mr. Moon if you’re not familiar with him. In the first one, he explains one of his best stories regarding trashing a hotel room–or rather, several at the same time.
This second clip shows some of his drumming techniques, coupled with his sense of humour.
And in this final clip, Keith decides to clear the stage of his equipment following a gig in 1968.
