In Euclid, Ohio, a man accused of pelting his neighbour’s home with eggs over 100 times has been sentenced to 18 months probation and fined $1000.
Thirty-one-year-old Jason Kozan pled guilty to a misdemeanor charge of inducing panic, after his six-month jail sentence was suspended. Vandalism and menacing charges were also dropped.
Through his lawyer Tuesday, Kozan maintained his innocence, saying he was not responsible for egging the home of Albert Clemens Sr. However, the attacks on the Clemens’ home have mostly stopped since Kozan moved from the neighbourhood. Clemens said the attacks kept his family on edge and did a lot of damage to his home.
Euclid is a suburb of Cleveland, about 19km northeast of the city.
