In Harrodsburg, Kentucky, police say a man was apprehended after falling asleep inside one of the cars he had broken into, with the mask still on his face.
Thirty-five-year-old Matthew Stewart of Louisville faces charges of theft, criminal mischief and criminal trespassing in connection with the incident. Stewart apparently got a little sleepy after breaking into several vehicles at a Harrodsburg business.
Police were called to CC Auto Parts & Service on Monday after employees found a lock box pried open that contained keys, as well as several burglarized vehicles.
Officers say they discovered Stewart passed out in the driver’s seat of one of the cars, wearing black gloves and a mask.
