A psychology teacher passed out a print out to their senior students—101 Ways to Cope With Stress.
The list varies from prepping for the morning the night before. Take a breath. Read a book. Look at the Stars. Write a letter to a friend. Listen to a symphony.
A little something for everyone. Looking back at our high school days, most stressful moments were written off as “teenage drama” and most of the time it was. Though, it doesn’t make it any less STRESSFUL. Teaching students that stress is a part of life and to train them to cope with it in their early adulthood MAY help them down the road. I am no doctor, but I feel as though if I found out my way to de-stress when I was 16…I would be able to manage it more now.
