We’ve all heard about drivers using blowup dolls and dummies to make use of the HOV lanes on the DVP and Gardiner Expressway in recent times.
But what about a giant Donald Trump head? That’s what happened in Seattle on Tuesday.
A Washington State Patrol trooper pulled over a vehicle with a cardboard cutout of the US Presidential candidate’s head stuck to the passenger seat headrest. The motorist was in the carpool lane on Highway 167 just south of the city.
Washington State Patrol spokesman Rick Johnson says people try to be funny now and then, and they have seen it all, from teddy bears to mannequins sitting alongside drivers.
Despite the sense of humour, this driver was still fined $136 US.
