Sixteen-time host of Saturday Night Live Alec Baldwin will portray Donald Trump for the show throughout the Election season.
Baldwin will premiere his Trump impression when SNL returns for its 42nd season this Saturday. He follows former cast members Taran Killam, Darrell Hammond, and Phil Hartman as the latest person to parody the US presidential candidate.
Hammond played Trump last year after returning to be the show’s announcer in 2014. Killam was Trump the season before that, but his contract wasn’t renewed for this season. Back in the late 80s when Trump wasn’t even considering politics, Phil Hartman played the billionaire alongside Jan Hook as his ex-wife, Ivana.
SNL premieres Saturday on Global at 11:29pm, with host Margot Robbie and musical guest The Weeknd.
